What do I need to bring?

  • Clothing suitable for British weather (i.e., changeable).

  • Appropriate footwear for walking on uneven, potentially muddy ground.

  • A coat appropriate to the season, probably a waterproof, rain hood or umbrella.

  • Light covering in summer to prevent against bites.

  • Insect repellent and sun cream 

  • Water bottle (top up water available)

Please bring anything you would usually take, to make yourself comfortable, if you were going for a walk in a natural woodland.

Keeping safe

​​

  • Always listen to and follow instructions. Let the leader know if you cannot hear or see what is being described.

  • Always follow pathways and do not wander alone unless instructed to do so.

  • Keep clear of the ponds. They are shallow but the mud and weeds could make them dangerous.

  • Watch out for tree roots, branches, twigs, mole hills, rabbit holes, wasps/ bee’s nests and protect yourself from stinging insects.

  • Be aware of the first aid kit and inform the facilitator if you are hurt, stung, or unwell, including emotionally, at any point.

  • Inform of allergies.

Terms and Conditions

BOOKINGSï‚· Bookings to be made online via our website, ensuring you have read details of what you arebooking prior to paying.ï‚· Bookings can be made up to 24hrs prior to the event where availability allows.ï‚· Cancellation/changing date for single sessions/events require 14 days’ notice – and must bemanaged yourself via your order confirmation email (cancel/reschedule button at thebottom of email).This amount of time allows us to offer that spot to someone on our waiting list or alterstaffing as required.ï‚· Emailing us or calling us, will not change the terms and conditions, no matter the reason.ï‚· Our phones are not manned in usual office hours and our team are often busy, so it isimportant that you manage your own booking yourself or leave us a message either byphone or email.ï‚· Where a refund is due, this will be made at the end of the month of cancellation, with adeduction of payment processing fees (approx. 1.75%).ï‚· reserve the right to alter and amend our timetable as needed.ï‚· By booking you are agreeing to our terms and conditions and waiver agreement.

ABILITYï‚· Please check the ability level of the session prior to booking to ensure it is suitable for you,this is for your own safety and enjoyment.ï‚· Retreats are for 16 years and over. Under 18's to be accompanied by a participating adult.ï‚· It is your responsibility to ensure that you are able to participate in the activity you arebooking, taking into consideration your health and fitness or any other factors that maymake participating dangerous or a concern for you.ï‚· Please dress for the weather and consider insect repellent and sun cream and a change offootwear and clothing (indoor and outdoor).ï‚· Where a retreat includes stretching and exercise – please check with your medical providerif you are unsure of your suitability.ï‚· The retreat involves walking through woodland where surfaces may be uneven, muddy andslippery. The woodland is a natural environment and therefore insects, such as, bees, waspsand mosquitos may be present. Rabbit holes, logs and fallen twigs and any other must beavoided. Weeds, such as, nettles and brambles are prevalent. If you are unsure aboutallergies and walking ability please consult your medical practitioner prior to the event.ï‚· The day and in particular the’ introduction to therapy’ session may trigger some emotionalthoughts and feelings. If you do not feel able to cope with this possibility please book whenyou do.ï‚· Please note what equipment (if any) you are required to bring with you for theclass/session.

SAFETY IN WATER It is very important that participants understand the ponds are shallow and are not part of ourroute. Entering the water is banned as there are weeds and mud that could cause a hazard.

WEATHER CONDITIONS In the event that we need to postpone/move a retreat due to adverse weather conditions, we willcontact you as soon as we can to re-arrange.

NO SMOKING We are a no smoking/vaping venue, this includes the car park.

BOOKINGS/CANCELLATIONS All bookings to be made online.You can book up to 24hrs in advance.Cancellation requires 14 days’ notice for a full refund (less payment processing fees).No refunds are given for missed or cancelled sessions. All refunds will be given minus the paymentprocessing fee.

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot make last minute changes to your booking over the phone, ifsomething comes up on the day or you are late for example.You must arrive on time for your session - our gates will close once the session begins.You can manage your bookings from the confirmation email you receive upon booking.Refunds for cancelled bookings are not automatic. They will be administered once a month, via theoriginal payment method with the payment processing fee deducted.
